Apple Announces Next-Generation 15-inch Macbook Pro With Retina Display

Apple at its today ongoing WWDC 2012 event has just announced the next-generation MacBook Pro, and over the top it comes with a retina display. The new MacBook goes along with the currentl line—up of MacBook, but Apple has moved a step further with the model, it removed the optical drive resulting in enabling a laptop to 0.71 inches thick. Other features include Retina Display, a 2880 x 1800 screen into 15.4 inches – that’s 220 pixels per inch and 5,184,000 pixels in total.

Apple along with that has updated the 13-inch and 15-inch version priced at $1199 and $1499, packed with a quad-core Ivy Bridge i7 processor and come with a 1440 x 900 display. Both comes with an option of 4GB and 8GB RAM, 7 hours of battery life and 500GB (and upwards) of hard drive storage.

It will comes at a price of $2,199 and is available today.
