The social gaming company, Zynga is in the place of taking another move today with the launch of its very own game portal. The company announced that it is launching a beta version of its own game portal in coming days, with bringing its games outside of Facebook. The company will be opening up its platform to third parties also, and even has partnered for the future activities with Row Sham Bow and MobScience which will be releasing games on Zynga.
Zynga COO John Schappert tells Venturebeat that “to date we’ve been a web / game company delivering content to our players… and now we’re transforming into a gaming and platform company.” The beta version will include CastleVille, Zynga Poker, Hidden Chronicles, and CityVille, and the platform will have its own social network features.
