YouTube Hits 4 Billion Daily Video Views Mark, Increase of 25% From Past Eight Months

Google’s video sharing website, YouTube, added another mark in its kitty with the streaming of 4 billion online videos every day – an increase of 25 percent in the past eight months. The figure includes both PC and smartphones streaming, and according to the company, 60 hours of videos gets added every minute – compared to 48 hours a minute last may.

Google said that its business running graphical display ads on the video sharing site, generating $5 billion revenue on an annualized run rate basis. The site was recently redesigned to more prominently showcasing specialized channels organized across different type of contents.
