Yahoo Confirms That It Plans To Leave South Korea By The End Of The Year

Yahoo today announced that it is planning to close its Korean business by the end of this year. The company says that it is taking the decision in an effort to streamline operations and to focus on resources on building a stronger global business. The company since from back 1997 working in the country providing high-quality editorial content and services and has built a successful search advertising network. There is no further details of why the company planning to close its Korean office all of sudden, but making the statement that “growing challenges” are something that make it “very difficult” for the company to survive in the country.
