Yahoo ‘Classic’ Mail Will No Longer Be Available From Monday June 3rd

It’s time to say good bye as starting from Monday June 3rd, your very own Yahoo’s “classic” Mail Interface is no more there for you. The company shared that beginning the week of June 3, 2013; older versions of Yahoo Mail (including Yahoo Mail Classic) will no longer be available. And, after that if you want to access your Yahoo Mail, you have to upgrade to the new version.

In order to upgrade, make sure you do agree on new terms of service agreement which gives Yahoo the permission to “scan and analyze all incoming and outgoing communications content sent and received from your account.” The company even notes that it will collect and store some of data so as to “provide personally relevant product features and content, to match and serve targeted advertising and for spam and malware detection and abuse protection.”
