Xbox Music Launches Across iOS And Android, Adds Free Streaming On The Web

Microsoft announced today that it will be bringing Xbox Music to its iOS and Android devices as well as free streaming via the Web on Xbox Music. The addition means now with your Xbox Music Pass, you can get the music catalog to iOS and Android devices with getting an unlimited access to the songs and artists which you want at any time with playback available across your tablet, PC, phone, Xbox console for $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year.

“Xbox Music now, more than ever, powers music experiences between Windows 8, Xbox, Windows Phone, and now iOS, Android and the Web,” said Jerry Johnson, general manager of Xbox Music. “We’re also excited to connect artists with their fans on the most anticipated consumer product of the year when Xbox One launches Nov. 22.”

The company also added that in coming months, it will be bringing additional updated for iOS and Android platforms, including an offline mode which allows you save your music to your device for playback without an internet or data connection requirement.
