Facebook could soon add the hashtag into its service, the Wall Street Journal reported. The Journal citing “people familiar with the matter” shared the report although its sources wouldn’t shared further details. There are no words on how big the social giant going to take the Hashtag into its social ecosystem but assuming on the social giant’s size it would definitely going to be big.
The Journal notes that Instagram already using the hashtags in order to allow users to sort photos so probably the move will somehow work towards the bridging stone between the two services. The hashtag could be like the @ sign or might be other but only Facebook can tell the right one it is going to use. The news is just only at an initial stage and we believe to see further growth over it in coming days.
