Minutes ago we reported that Dell is looking like to change its focus to enterprise, away from Consumer PCs – another company who is breaking through in the same urge is Ericsson which eyes a future in software, WSJ reports.

“We’re often described as a manufacturer of equipment, but if you look at the size of our software and services businesses last year, it made up over 60% [of revenue],” Mr. Vestberg, Chief Executive said ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The Sweden Telefon company traditionally seen as well as known as a maker of hardware for telephone networks and with change in approach towards a new market is certainly good but we can’t go on assumptions only as only the time will speak that whether what the company is planning right now would be correct for it for longer term or not.
