Twitter To Expand Japan Sales Staff On Local Growth

Bloomberg reports that the micro-blogging giant is planning to add more sales staff in Japan in order to attract more advertisers as local user growth exceeds the company’s global expansion. Twitter will continue to invest and hire in the country and will also ass engineers, company’s CEO Costolo told.

Dataminr, a social media analytics company earlier unveiled its partnership with Twitter that grants it access to over 340 million tweets a day. Even further, the company who turned six had partnered with American Express last month to offer its small business Cardmembers and merchants the chance to use Twitter advertising network in order to better engage with the people they want to reach or influence for.
