Twitter For Windows 8 Updates, Brings Support For Multiple Accounts, Start Screen Pinning And More

Twitter today announced the release of an update for Windows 8 and Windows RT, bringing support for multiple accounts, lists, Start screen pinning and native sign-up along with fixing bugs. The app is available for download via Windows Store.

Now if you wish to add a new account, all you have to do is to swipe from either the top or bottom to bring up the app commands and click on the people icon which will be at the top right. There you will see the “plus” button, which allows you to add additional accounts. You will also notice “x” buttons next to already added accounts which lets you quickly delete the accounts which you don’t want to use.

The full changelog is as follows:

  • New “Lists” feature allows you to organize accounts you follow by type for a more customized timeline view.
