AllThingsD is reporting that the micro-blogging giant has announced the appointment of media mogul Peter Chernin to its board of directors. Chernin held various key roles at News Corp. as well as having a place on the Pandora board and was one of the major key people during the formation of streaming video service Hulu. Now on wondering, what and why Twitter takes sudden move, the appointment fits well as on Twitter’s ground on pushing the company into traditional media, the one it is still lacking out but what it believes that with Chernin on board, it will definitely help Twitter out.
