A different climate and landscape makes New Zealand quite a different destination from Australia, despite the relative closeness of the countries. Here you can drive through scenery that was used in the filming of Lord of the Rings, cruise up into mountains where you can ski and snowboard, or visit the nation’s cities to experience local culture. This is a fantastic driving country, with famous routes such as Te Anau to Milford Sound, taking you through woodland, golden meadows and along coastal roads.
Canada
Canada is another vast and beautiful country, with landscapes that change from green and leafy to snowy and mountainous. A motorhome is the perfect way to travel around the less arctic areas of this stunning nation, and cities such as Quebec and Ontario are well worth a visit if you crave civilisation.
USA
The USA is famous for its epic stretches of road that cross the country and wind down coastlines. It is therefore a fantastic destination for an RV holiday. Take the famous Route 66 across this sprawling nation or choose your own path of exploration. With a great vehicle – and many are available for hire here – you are free to wander the land.
France
Europe is also a great place to have a campervan, as you can drive easily from one country to another. France is a particular draw for campers, as here there are endless campsites throughout the country, whether you want to explore Paris, the gorgeous south of France or the snow-capped Pyrenees.
