When news aggregator Summify announced last week that is was being acquired by Twitter, the company mentioned that the current version of the service would be shut down.

The company News.me, known for its iPad newsreading app, somehow similar to Summify, published a blog post telling Summify users, “We’re here for you,” outlining upcoming features like Facebook integration and asking for feedback.

News.me further added that, will present its users with a list of the most important links shared by your friends. A link’s frequency of appearance in streams as an indicator of importance and will use bitly data to weight that indicator.

Well, seems like News.me is having its all eyes set to grab as many as Summify users.
