Giving an edge to LinkedIn in China, internet giant Sina bringing out its own business-focused social network to be called as “Wei Renmai.” Spotted by Tech In Asia, the Wei Renmai currently is in beta stage and can be accessed only via an email invite. The business social network allows users to follow other users, add them to circles, and republish other status updates and many other things. Even it is having a search engine which is located at the top of the page, which help users search for ‘people,’ ‘companies,’ or ‘opportunities.’ Furthermore to note here, it not only affect LinkedIn in China, but other professional networks also, including Tianji, Ushi, and the startup Guanxi.me.
