Taking the TV war to the full swing, after LG and Samsung, Sharp today announced two new Aquos 4K LCD TVs into the Japanese market. The two new TVs: the 70-inch LC-70UD1 and the 60-inch LC-60UD1 are the part of the new Sharp’s 4K Aquos UD1 series. Both the TVs will feature Sharp’s 4K “Moth-eye” panel.
Talking about price, the 70-inch LC-70UD1 will cost your pockets 850,000 yen ($8,290) while launch is on June 15th. The 60-inch set will cost 650,000 yen ($6,335) and will launch on August 10th. There are now words on stateside arrival yet, but we believe it will follow the suit.
