Samsung, LG Spars Over Eye-Tracking Technology

Samsung and LG has patented row over technology which sparse over an eye-tracking patent which will enable the users to control their smartphones with their eyes, reports The Yonhap. Both the tech giants have incorporated eye-tracking technology in their respected flagship devices – the Galaxy S IV and the Optimus G Pro.

Interestingly both the companies comes in so varied fact that both LG and Samsung working for it from the last 18 months period at loggerheads over screen technology patents. Samsung calls the feature as “smart pause” while LG call it as “smart video.” The legal war started back to the summer of 2011, the time when first time Samsung Display suspected that its OLED technology details leaked to LG.

Seems like the fumes will burnt up again as the matter of fact that Galaxy S IV already debuted while the Optimus G Pro due next month.
