Samsung today announced the two new lower priced Android smartphones – the Galaxy Young and the Galaxy Fame. The Galaxy Young features a 1GHz processor, 768MB RAM, a 3.27-inch HVGA TFT display, 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, 4GB internal storage equipped with microSD support and a 1,300mAh battery.
The Galaxy Fame features a 3.5-inch HVGA TFT display, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage along with microSD support, a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0, optional NFC and a 1,300mAh battery with Android 4.1 on board. Both the smartphones come with dual-DIM variants while the Samsung did not disclose the regions in which the devices will go on sale and what would be its price.
