Although Windows 8 (as per Samsung) still not able to make up high in the PC industry, and with Net Applications recent Windows 8 numbers – this at first might sound irrelevant to work on total new operating system both for Desktop and Mobile, but this is the reality. Thanks to Indie blog MSFTKitchen (via The Next Web) which revealed today by posting a link to a Microsoft Job Post, which reads as “Software Development Engineer – BING” directly mentioned that Microsoft working on Windows 9 as well as Internet Explorer 11.

The job posting first paragraph part reads (with Windows 9 highlighted in bold by Team I2Mag):

We utilize cutting edge technologies across the stack from Bing metro application development using WinJS and HTML5, innovative features in IE10 such as flip ahead and much more! The team will be constantly delivering great products in areas including Windows 9, IE11 services integration, touch friendly devices including iPad and more. Our talented, customer-focused, team delivers these features through rapid cycles of experimentation and customer feedback to bring the best ideas to market.

So curious for Windows 9, well don’t be as I believe the reality is still far away and this is just like the first glimpse of new operating system but on the other hand, Microsoft has to first focus on its current Windows 8 as it is still far to make anything near the success.
