PayPal has announced that for its UK PayPal customers can now use their smartphones to pay for their shopping at four major high street retail stores in the country: Coast, Oasis, Warehouse, and Karen Millen. The service will begin from tomorrow (May 31st) and will be available in 230 stores.
The PayPal inStore app, available for Android and Apple iOS (iPhone and iPad) devices, brings the flexibility of online shopping to the high street. If you want to use your mobile to pay for your new summer outfit, the inStore app simply generates a unique barcode and transaction number, which the shop cashier scans to take payment from your PayPal account.
