Panasonic recently had released its annual financial results with a net loss of ¥812.8 billion (about $10.2 billion). This is just not the ending of troubles for the company although there is still more to come as Reuters reports that the company is mulling fresh job losses of around 17,000 recent lay-offs as company is working on restructuring.

Citing “sources,” following restructuring at its plants and other facilities. Rather than redundancies, however, staff may be shifted to other units, subsidiaries or affiliates, the source added. A company spokeswoman said no job cuts on the chart as of now, adding that the company was always looking for ways to restructure its business.
