Oracle and Microsoft today announced that the duo has signed a partnership which let Oracle customers to run their software in Windows Azure while for Java, its coming soon. This private partnership will cover both the private and public cloud, offering multiple options. Moreover both the companies also agreed on to work together to “add property licensed and fully supported Java into Windows Azure.”
“We look forward to working with Oracle to help our customers realize this partnership’s immediate, and future, benefits,” the blog post reads. “And we look forward to providing our customers with the increased flexibility and choice that comes from providing thousands of Oracle customers, and millions of Oracle developers, access to Microsoft’s enterprise grade public and private clouds. It’s a bold partnership for a bold new enterprise era.”
