The Norway-based internet browser company, Opera Software, today reported Q2 2012 earnings with revenues of $52.1 million, up 32%, EBIT was $11 million, excluding one-time extraordinary costs, up 35% versus 2Q11. The adjusted EBIDTA was $14.5 million while operating cash flow was of $4.6 million.
Operational Highlights:
- Operators: Revenues of $ 10.4 million in 2Q12, down 24% versus 2Q11
- Mobile Consumers: Revenues of $ 3.4 million in 2Q12, up 168% versus 2Q11
- Mobile OEMs: Revenues of $ 1.3 million in 2Q12, down 40% versus 2Q11
- Desktop Consumers: Revenues of $ 15.7 million in 2Q12, up 22% versus 2Q11
- Device OEMs: Revenues of $ 7.4 million in 2Q12, up 16% versus 2Q11
- Mobile Publishers & Advertisers: Revenues of $ 13.5 million in 2Q12, up over 450% versus 2Q11
- Total Opera mobile browser users reached 200 million at the end of 2Q12, up 47% versus the end of 2Q11
- Desktop users reached 55 million by the end of 2Q12, flat versus the end of 2Q11
- Total mobile advertising impressions grew 92% to 102 billion in 2Q12 compared to 2Q11
