What it makes a count when the biggest ticketing service hits with 100 million tickets? Sounds ravishing, well this happens today the San Francisco-based company Eventbrite has hit an important milestone with firm announced through its site that it has now processed over 100 million tickets and registrations.
This is a huge (double the numbers) in a short interval of time, the company a year ago in February 2012, had sold 50 million tickets. The 100 million numbers is so huge that even it lets the company to generate a total amount of $1.5 billion in gross ticket sales since the time it was founded back in 2006.
The company which was backed by over $78 million in capital from Tiger Global, Sequoia Capital, DAG Ventures, Tenaya Capital and Angel Investors and currently localized in 14 countries and 7 languages, which was used by organizers and attendees in 179 countries in the last year.
