With countries from time-to-time signing One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) Campaign, an interesting numbers comes in front of us today through the organization stating that over 2.4 million children and teachers have xo laptops had been given out so far and it is still counting. The cherished stating from the organization is by showing a world map displaying that the number of laptops the country gets under the campaign scheme.
Learning more about the campaign, it was all started back in 2007 with a promise to deliver the developing countries its affordable and durable computers to students. Even, at time a study was also taken place by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) which concludes that OLPC doesn’t provide enough guidance to teachers to tell them how to effectively use the computers in their courses.
But, now after a grasp of 7 years, the magic is on, the campaign not only leads to spread the magic with its mere $100 value laptop but also making it reaches to such a places where one in earlier time just only think upon.
