Pocket-lint strongly indicated that Windows 8 will be coming up during this October. During the CES 2012 visit in Vegas, the Pocket-lint discussed the time frame of the launch with Janelle Poole, Windows Director of Press Releases.

Director of Windows PR Janelle Poole also stated that “One of the things that I think is a good guideline though is we’ve always said that Windows releases come round about every three years and this year will be three years in October since we launched Windows 7. So I think that’s a good guideline to consider.”

Thinking this in the spite, Microsoft has been making the waves in the market with its three years theory. They earlier launched Windows 7 and even before that Windows Vista but wait the gap between them wasn’t close to three years. Earlier, last week Microsoft announced two of the features of Windows 8 – Refresh and Reset your PC.

Well, what’s in the store for us with Microsoft’s Windows 8, we’ll get to know soon.
