President Obama yesterday on TV publicly announced for the very first time that he supports same-sex marriage. This tweet was posted on his Twitter page, saying:
“Same-sex couples should be able to get married.” –President Obama
What interesting sort of happen is that within the time-span of eight hours, the tweet had been retweeted for more than 50,000 times and even it is still counting. Michael Schonfeld an evangelist/hacker told The Next Web that normally people can see retweets for up to 50 nos. But these numbers made viral effect. He told TNW that he used Twitter’s “rest” API to create the ticker, which can be seen at retweetingobama.com.
