Nokia Soon To Close Two Of Its Four China Distribution Centers As Part Of Restructuring Drive

We did know very well that Nokia going through bad rough time, but how bad it is: the one time mobile top rated company soon to be seen closing two of its four regional distribution centers in China, saying it as part of a restructuring plan, reporting Bloomberg. The company already planned out shout to layoff 10,000 of its employees  by 2013 and now this news  not make much difference as it somehow indicate very well that where Nokia is heading into.

The centers that are on radar to cut shot soon are at Chengdu and Shanghai and consolidate operations at a northern center in Beijing and Guangzhou southern hub, according to a Beijing-based Nokia spokeswoman, Anna Shipley said in an email to the publication. There are no further details available yet but the move will see eliminate in jobs. “As part of the announcement and planned changes that we made on June 14, we are reviewing some elements of our China business,” Shipley said.
