Mozilla, Foxconn Confirms That They Are Working On Five Devices For OEMs, Including A Tablet

As expected, Mozilla, Foxconn today officially announced a partnership and confirmed that the duo are working on at least five new devices, which even includes a tablet computer also. Sharing the details at Computex 2013, Mozilla Taiwan CEO, Li Gong and Foxconn innovation Digital System Business Group General Manager, Young Liu has unveiled a prototype model designed for an unnamed OEM.

The company has not shared much of details as of now although in a Q&A session, Mozilla says that its HTML5 OS will help it positioning in both developed as well as emerging market. Even, on sharing further the company says that there partnership with Foxconn wouldn’t be limited to smartphones and tablets only and there will be definitely more in store.
