Microsoft: Windows Phone 8 Increased App Submission By 40%, Full Staff Available During Holidays

Microsoft has announced Wednesday that although the launch of Windows Phone 8 take place only in late October, the company able to attain a results of 40% increase in Windows Phone app submissions. Seeing the results, the company has planned out to have the Windows Phone Store open for businesses during the holiday timeframe.

According to the company through its blog post, all its full-time staff on-hand throughout the holiday period letting developers continues right on submitting. Microsoft aims to maintain its “certification processing turnaround times for developers.” The company further says that it has made huge number of improvements in terms of dealing with the inundation of app submission with its new Windows Phone Store infrastructure.

The company also shared that when and when not it will be available for app testing. On December 24, December 25 and January 1, there will be no app testing, which means you can submit your app by December 17 and December 21, both days inclusive, respectively.
