Microsoft Windows 8 Upgrade Program Reportedly Launching In June

We know that Microsoft is bringing a lot more with Windows 8 and it recently shown its first insight with the recent Windows 8 Consumer Preview, but wait there is some good news for Windows 7 users either. Citing “unnamed” sources, CNET reports that the software giant is preparing to unveil its Windows 8 upgrade program for prospective Windows 7 PC users. The sources claim that those who purchase a desktop or notebook running Windows 7 Home Basic or higher will be able to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro at a discounted rate. There are no details regarding pricing revealed although the launch is on June 2nd.
