Microsoft Will Invest Up To $3 Billion For Dell Buyout

With Dell buyout already in the air, today Reuters reported that the software giant Microsoft will invest $3 billion in Dell. According to Reuters – via CNBC – cited unidentified sources as saying Microsoft is in discussions to invest between $1 billion and $3 billion in a buyout of Dell.

With Reuters reports private equity Silver Lake Partners is on the edge to lead the race as topmost contender to take Dell as private along with having the opened discussions with potential equity partners. With adding more to it, Dell also has formed a special committee to take a close look at all potential deal that it’s having on its table.
