Launched quietly last year, Microsoft today updated its social network So.cl with animated GIF feature and other creation tools. The social networking service now offers a set of simple, fun “create experiences” which make it even easier to express and share ideas with people across the world. This means one can now share rich visual collage to short animate media and memes.
In order to get started, the BLINK features uses an app for Windows 8 or Windows Phone by which one can create short animated GIFs and then can be shared on So.cl. Along with three creation tools – Pictotale, Collage tool and Video Party – on offer, Microsoft has a whole dedicated section for BLINK.
