Microsoft Offers Windows 8 Developers An Early Chance To Get Apps Into The Windows Store

At the time of Windows 8 Consumer Preview, Microsoft unveiled Windows Store. The Windows Store currently is having a small amount of apps right now, but in an encouraging mode, the software giant giving developers an early chance to get applications into the store ready for launch. Microsoft’s Matt Harrington is reaching out to developers “we are looking for the first wave of great applications which highlight the power of Metro and Windows 8, especially from developers who want to get to market first and build their brand.” In addition, the team is holding a series of events and office hours to help developers.
