Microsoft Launches Microsoft Ventures For Startups To Build, Innovate And Grow

Microsoft today announced via its blog post that it has brought several of its venture capital programs under one hood. Rahul Sood, the VoodooPC founder will lead the group, dubbed as Microsoft Ventures. The Ventures’ will help seeding the startup with Microsoft’s own products. The project comprises of three units: Seed Fund, Accelerators and Community.

The Ventures’ program will also includes the BizSpark program, offering free and reduced-cost access to Microsoft software and service with having local partnerships with over 200 startup programs and accelerators worldwide. The program will give entrepreneurs for three to six months to develop their ideas to establish their ideas in eight locations globally.
