With rumors last week that Microsoft soon to seen replacing “Metro Branding,” it is now being confirmed that the tech giant reportedly switching it simply to “Windows 8.” ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley citing sources revealed that “Metro-style applications” will officially become “Windows 8 applications,” the “Metro user interface” will become the “Windows 8 user interface,” and “Metro design” will be “Windows 8 design.” It is still yet to be officially confirmed as the company never made any announcement yet over not using the Metro codename. Well, the name definitely sounds a bit of strange, say like how one can say Windows 8 applications or Windows 8 design or Windows 8 user interface, sounding like an abuzz struck while saying.
