Microsoft And Nokia To Invest €18 Million For Over Three Years In Mobile App Development

In order to give its best and to turn Windows Phone platform a success one day, both Microsoft and Nokia plan together to invest €18 million in mobile app development for over the three years’ time. With the joint project with Aalto University, Microsoft and Nokia created AppCampus, a mobile app accelerator program which is design to help developers bringing their innovative apps to market.

Applicants whose apps are selected for the program will receive cash awards varying from €20,000 (approximately $25,000) to €70,000 (approximately $90,000), depending on apps complexity. Further, AppCampus also provides world-class training, coaching and marketing and distribution support.
