LG Reportedly Working On Open webOS-Powered Smart TV, Expecting To Unveil At CES 2013

According to webOS Nation, LG reportedly is working on Open webOS-powered smart TV with LG and Gram working together on the new gadget. The publication sources says that company isn’t “comfortable with Google’s terms for using Google TV,” as well as having concerns over Apple entering the marketplace. The plan is high that the new web-OS powered Smart TV will make its debut at CES 2013, well certainly something that we are strongly looking into.

LG even recently announced its third quarter “solid” 2012 results with $138.57 million in net profit. Specifically, in which LG Home Entertainment Company reported third-quarter 2012 sales of KRW 5.49 trillion ($4.84 billion). IT products led by IPS monitors and monitor TVs also increased from the previous quarter. Operating profit of KRW 89 billion (USD 78.55 million) was unchanged from third quarter 2011.
