Turning the long heat rumor down in single swing, LG executive today confirmed that the company having no plans to bring Nexus 5 smartphone in collaboration with Google. The company is not at all working on the Nexus-branded next instalment of smartphone.
LG Mobile in Europe Vice President Won Kim in an interview with AllAboutPhones said, “The Nexus 4 was a great success despite the production problems for us and Google. However we do not need such a marketing success again.”
While on asking about the Samsung’s new Galaxy S4 Google Edition, Kim added that bringing the similar device would not add any value for the company. “We have no plans to provide our devices like Samsung has now done,” he said. “This has no added value for us without our own skins.”
