The Chosun media reports – via The Next Web – that LG is working on developing a smartphone on the direction of company’s chairman Koo Bon-moo. The phone will feature a quad-core processor with a camera with over 10-megapixels resolution. Another interesting this is that Bon-moo asked the team to develop the phone from the parts manufactured by subsidiaries LG Display, LG Chem and LG Innotek. The plans to release the new phone will be around in September. Although LG recently said that it will focus more on smaller device, sidelined tablet computer development and now with this sudden announcement it will be something that says that company is planning for something big in order to complete well with its competitor.
