Kobo E-Reader App Available For Windows 8 Consumer Preview

If you gone through our Windows 8 Consumer Preview coverage, then probably you might have also noticed the Kobo icon flashing onstage at the event, the company announced that the company will be one of the first eBook retailers to have an app featured in the Windows concurrent with the release of the Windows 8 Consumer Preview.

Using Kobo’s desktop application, consumers can instantly access their library and download their purchases directly to their home PC or tablet to read offline later, without an Internet connection. The Kobo app also enables users to shop for eBooks through the integrated Kobo eBook Store and download content to their desktop to easily build and manage their library. The new app was one of just a handful selected for release with the Consumer Preview of Windows 8.
