According to FOSS Patents report, Judge Lucy Koh has rejected Apple’s plead over its request of asking the Judge to ban the permanent sales on 26 of Samsung devices in the United States that it believes infringes upon its patents following a decision of Jury which was taken back in August. Judge Lucy Koh entered two important post-trial orders with which one of the order resulting into this.
From Judge Koh’s order:
In sum, to the limited extent that Apple has been able to show that any of its harms were caused by Samsung’s illegal conduct (in this case, only trade dress dilution), Apple has not established that the equities support an injunction. Accordingly, Apple’s motion for a permanent injunction is DENIED.
