Japan’s DoCoMo To Establish Base Stations For 3.9G Mobile Communications Using 700MHz Band

Japan’s NTT DoCoMo has announced that it has received approval from the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications to establish specified base stations for 3.9G mobile communications that will use the 700 MHz band, means now the carrier will expand its user base to 3 million more users. The cost of migration to support a network for 3.9-generation phones could cost as much as 150 billion yen ($1.9 billion). The carrier plans to immediately begin establishment in order to attain its target and offer the LTE-services using the 700 MHz band in January 2015. Well, this is a starting to make something better.
