After the launch of Lava Xolo 900 in India last month, Intel is moving a step further in announcing next Intel-inside smartphone, Lenovo’s K800. During this year CES, Intel’s CEO Paul Ontellini announced that the Intel chips will bring Intel-inside smartphone with Lenovo’s handset, K800. Citing “source” familiar with Lenovo’s plans – CNET reports that Lenovo’s Intel-inside K800 will be out in China next week.
The K800 features 1.6GHz Atom processor with a 400MHz graphics chip clock, 4.5-inch 720×1280 displays and Android -based Lenovo LeOS user interface for the local Chinese market. Other features include HDMI-out, near-field communication (NFC), and Intel wireless display technology for steaming video to a compatible HDTV. The phone will run on China’s Unicom’s network and will support HSPA+.
