IndoUS Venture Name Itself As Kalaari Capital, Announces $150 Million For Early-Stage Tech Companies

Even in the tough conditions there is always the ray of sun, and this is what coming up as a whole new branded entity with Kalaari Capital, a new VC fund formed by the partners behind Indo US Venture Partners (IUVP, also known as IndosUS), has also announced a whole new $150 million investment fund focusing on early-stage technology companies. The money will be invested over the next four to five years time period with individual funding likely to range from $1 million to $5 million, reports VC Circle.

The founders of Kalaari are Vani Kola, Kumar Shiralagi and Rajesh Raju. “IUVP will continue to function as it is and will be working with the companies it has already invested in. IUVP had invested over a $100 million in 35 companies in the last five years. Similarly, we plan to invest Kalaari’s fund of $150 million over the next four to five years in India,” said Kola.
