HTC One X Announced For April Release: Quad-Core Tegra 3, 4.7-inch Display And Android 4.0

With all the “rumors” rolling out regarding the HTC One X – the company has today confirmed the device that is equipped with a 4.7-inch, quad-core superphone, Tegra-3 powered will feature Android 4.0, Sense 4.0 with NFC, 32GB of storage onboard, and a 1280 X 720 Super LCD display, an “all-in-device” feature in HTC language, the camera is an 8-megapixel backside illuminated sensor with an f/2.0 lens. HTC seems giving the highest priority to camera performance with the launch of its One series and its three newly launched Android phones.

With the One Cameras, the company is focusing mostly on the speed – having the startup time of the camera app is said to be 0.7 seconds and autofocus takes a blistering 0.2 seconds, making it quicker than blink of an eye. One X has to be come with a new material name polycarbonate and a new microdrilling technique. The battery is inaccessible to the user, removing microSD storage expandability from the device and shifting to a Micro SIM card. The HTC One X will be released across Europe in early April with an availability date of the device is within 60 days of today’s announcement in all territories.
