Although Huawei eyeing on Indian market with plans to launch smartphone in the country, its competitor HTC aiming amazingly high with plans to be within top two smartphone brands in India’s neighbouring country, China by 2015. The company’s China chief Ray Yam told the Wall Street Journal that HTC bolstering the branded sales counters number across the country from current 2,700 to 3,500 by the end of next year with plans to expand the local engineering team too. Yam pointed out that HTC aiming to be a high-end brand which can move its phones at the same price as that the Apple’s iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy series are in the country.
