The news finally in air that HP is about to launch its first Chrombook, according to a PDF document found by The Verge. The Chromebook is a 14-inch display, a 16GB solid-state drive with over four hours of battery life per charge and thinness will be less than an inch and weight under two kilos.

The Chromebook runs on Chrome OS built by Google, with a 1.1GHz Intel Celeron Processor 847 and 2GB of memory, with option to upgrade it to 4GB. The screen itself is a BrightView 1366×768 display, with a high definition HP TrueVision webcam up top and a multi-format card reader.
