HP Plans For ‘Technology Renewal Center’ In Scotland

With HP is thinking of cutting 25,000 jobs, 8 percent of its workforce in order to reduce costs and help company to survive. ZDNet reports that HP Financial Services coming up with a new “technology renewal center” in Scotland. The agenda set for this new renewal center is that it will work with enterprise customers who are intended to get the leased equipment out.

“HP has full responsibility for the equipment that we take out of service,” said Paul Sadler, service delivery manager for the education department for the States of Guernsey Government, in a statement. “Without HP’s help, we would have to pay to store our decommissioned equipment.”
