Should you wake up one morning and find you became the owner of a $1bn windfall overnight you might need a little help adjusting to your new lifestyle now the world is yours for the taking. Hopefully our infographic will help you make the transition from an ordinary, working life into one that you have always dreamed of. We give you a little insight into how billionaires live, and whilst some do actually work, the majority spend their lives on permanent holiday. To help you to feel comfortable when you are rubbing shoulders with them in their playgrounds we can show you what you should be spending your money on, and how to holiday like a billionaire.

Begin by learning to travel in style. Forget flying first class, if you are a billionaire you should at least charter a jet, or better still, consider buying your own plane! Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bought an Airbus A380, had its 800 seats removed and replaced with Turkish baths, a boardroom, sumptuous private quarters and guest staterooms, and still has space to park his Rolls Royce. For more leisurely travel why not rent a luxury mega-yacht and its entire crew for a few nights, and go island-hopping around Greece or stopping off at various ports-of-call along the Mediterranean coast?

Of course your destination is just as important as how you get there, but wherever you go staying in presidential or penthouse suites in luxurious hotels is a must. If you are publicity-shy and want to avoid the paparazzi, you could rent a villa or even an entire island to ensure your privacy. If this entire decision- making is giving you a headache you could always opt for the ultimate holiday package, sit back and let others do the work and deal with all the problems!
