An interesting number has come through via GSV Capital’s investment that the micro-blogging giant having a value of approximately $9.8 billion, although in real the numbers are actually lower when compared from last year, Bloomberg reports.
GSV Capital owes 1.9 million Twitter shares values at $18.50 per share or $35.2 million in total, as per the May 8 filing. On calculating this on total count of 530 million counts, the total valuation of Twitter comes as about $9.8 billion.
Not a second thought, with the way the 140-character micro-blogging service from time-to-time bringing a huge impact out in market. The company is becoming more valuable as thanks to its boosting revenue from advertising and now a move closer to a predicted IPO.
